Michelle got her international pageant break when fashion guru Renee Salut spotted her at a fahsion show in San Francisco. Michelle, the daughter of a Filipina mother and a black Puerto Rican father won the national contest to participate in the Top Model of the World in 2007. Michelle was working already as Model for signature brands all over the USA. Michelle de Leon´s viktory was a bit lucky, first she was just a few points behind the brazilian beauty but at the end she had to replace Natalia Guimaraes of Brazil who was the winner of the Top Model of the World 2006 contest in Kunming China. Natalia signed before to particpate in the Miss Brazil contest and so was forced to give back the Top Model of the World title.

Michelle had an amazing year. Visiting the Seychelles, Germany, Egypt and many countries more.

Today she is still modelling and more famous thanshe was before. Currently she is living in Los Angeles.
